Manassas, VA (April 3, 2025) – Didlake, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to creating employment and community engagement opportunities for people with disabilities, has successfully achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2. This certification underscores Didlake’s commitment to the highest standards of information security and compliance in support of its federal customers.
The Department of Defense (DoD) established the CMMC Program to ensure that government contractors and subcontractors implement the necessary security measures to protect Federal Contract Information (FCI) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Didlake has met all security requirements and is now CMMC Level 2 certified for an enclave that includes a dedicated team of staff.
Didlake first achieved organization-wide CMMC Level 1 compliance, which requires adherence to 15 security controls that safeguard FCI, such as contract documents, accounting records, and personnel data. Level 1 compliance includes fundamental security practices such as access control, authentication protocols, protection against malicious code, and secure disposal of data. To maintain this certification, Didlake will complete an annual self-assessment and affirmation.
CMMC Level 2 certification requires compliance with 110 security controls designed to protect CUI—sensitive but unclassified government information. To maintain Level 2 compliance, Didlake will undergo an independent assessment by a CMMC Third-Party Assessor Organization (C3PAO) every three years and conduct annual cybersecurity training for all staff.
“This milestone is a significant step forward in Didlake’s expansion into technology-based services, providing IT helpdesk support, cybersecurity and other digital solutions for the federal and private sector,” said Ivy Tetreault, Didlake VP of Information Systems & Technology.
“It also serves as a testament to the fact that a nonprofit dedicated to empowering people with disabilities is fully capable of meeting the highest standards in federal contracting,” added Paul Gravley, Didlake CEO. “Didlake continues to prove that mission-driven organizations can achieve operational excellence and compete at the highest levels of service, both for the government and for the private sector.”
