Manassas, VA – When Lieutenant Colonel Douglas C. Rose, Jr. was promoted to the rank of Colonel, he made a special request to have Triet “Tommy” Trinh, a Didlake employee working at the Army National Guard Readiness Center join him at the Pentagon’s promotion ceremony. Tommy has worked as a Custodian at the Army National Guard Readiness Center for seven years.Didlake provides mailroom operations and custodial services at the Army National Guard Readiness Center employing 18 individuals with disabilities under the AbilityOne Program. Arthur “Cill” Napper, Didlake’s Project Manager at the site couldn’t say enough about Tommy’s work. “He is one of the best workers I have been associated with since I’ve been at Didlake.” And that’s saying a lot because Mr. Napper is going on his tenth year.
Lieutenant Rose is a tenant of the Readiness Center. He wanted to ensure he shared his promotion ceremony with an individual that he grew to know and respect. Tommy was recognized at the ceremony for all his hard work, dedication and selfless services he has performed.
According to Lieutenant Commander James D. Briggs, “Many soldiers who have worked at the Army National Guard Readiness Center were in attendance. They gave Tommy a warm applause. It was an excellent ceremony and one truly to remember.”
Congratulations to Lieutenant Colonel Rose and Tommy!
