Manassas, VA – Long-time Manassas attorney Bruce Gross has been retained by Didlake, Inc – a Manassas-based not-for-profit that creates opportunities for people with disabilities– to head its newly formed office of Corporate Counsel. Gross had previously provided legal services to Didlake through his private practice, Bruce A. Gross & Associates, PC. He will now serve as Didlake’s Vice President and Corporate Counsel. CEO Rex Parr stated, “Didlake is a complex organization with multiple licensing, regulatory compliance and government contract requirements that require strict oversight. Our tremendous growth over the past several years has brought us to the point where it makes sense both economically and strategically to create an internal office of Corporate Counsel to oversee these requirements and the other legal issues that any organization of our size deals with every day. Attorney Gross has provided outstanding service to Didlake for nearly 25 years and is a highly respected member of the Virginia and Prince William Bar Associations and the local community. We are very fortunate to be able to add his talents to our executive leadership team.”
In addition to managing Didlake’s day-to-day legal needs and any litigation issues, Gross will oversee the creation of a new Corporate Counsel department that will assist with policy development, corporate filings and coordination of other specialized legal services. Gross will have the able assistance of Julie Messplay, Legal Administrative Coordinator, who comes with him to Didlake after 14 years as his Assistant at Bruce A. Gross & Associates, PC.
Gross has been practicing law since 1975 and received his Juris Doctor degree from the Washington College of Law – American University. He is a veteran of the United States Army and previously served as legislative assistant to former Congressman John B. Conlan. He and his wife Sue reside in Manassas with their golden retrievers, Pooh Bear and Bailey Bear.
