Ticket to Work, Didlake & You
Didlake is proud to be an Employment Network in the Social Security Administration's Ticket to Work program. The Ticket to Work (TTW) program helps people who are receiving disability benefits avoid some of the barriers they sometimes face when trying to return to work.
As a leading provider of jobs and employment services for people with disabilities, Didlake can help you use your Ticket to access new pathways to independence.
How does TTW work?
Ticket to Work is a voluntary program that increases opportunities and choices for Social Security disability beneficiaries to obtain employment, vocational rehabilitation and other support services. Under the Ticket program, the Social Security Administration provides disability beneficiaries with a Ticket they may use to obtain the services and jobs they need from their chosen Employment Network.
Once you have used your Ticket to find stable employment with the help of your Virginia Department of Rehabilitative Services (DRS) or Maryland Division of Rehabilitation Services (DORS) counselor, you can re-assign it to Didlake for long-term follow along support to help you stay employed. Long term support helps to combat barriers that may compromise your position down the road, such as changes in management, the need for reasonable accommodations, communication between employers and co-workers, medication and/or disability-related changes, etc.
