Milton Canty
Milton Canty's life story is a tragedy...and a success.  Tragedy was nearly his only story when he, as a drug dealer and user, ended up shot and dying in a hospital.  Fortunately, Mr. Canty recovered and experienced a profound transformation.  He came to Didlake through a rehabilitation program for substance abusers.  Canty began with a lawn mower and moved up to trimming hedges.  Promoted next to crew leader, he became an expert in quality control.  He later obtained his VA Pesticide and Herbicide Applicator's licenses and was named project manager for Didlake's largest ground maintenance contract.  Today Mr. Canty is considered the most knowledgeable manager in government contracting in the Tidewater region.
